The other day my boyfriend and I were in Westwood to run a few errands, and since we hadn't been to the neighborhood for a while we decided that we obviously needed to stop at Diddy Riese. Diddy Riese is a little shop that has been selling freshly baked cookies and amazing ice cream sandwiches at mind bogglingly cheap prices (cookies are 35 cents) for over 30 years. We sat at the counter and watched a quintessentially 'Westwood' scene play out; UCLA students rushing about, totally un-phased by the huge movie premiere being set up.
After our ice cream sandwiches (I chose one white chocolate macadamia nut cookie, cookies & cream ice-cream, and a chocolate chip cookie on top) we wandered around the neighborhood and did a little sightseeing. Like I said in my Silver Lake post, LA is just so huge and diverse that you could pretty much visit a new area or neighborhood every weekend. I'll have to put off any exploring until next weekend though as I'm currently on my way to Miami! I'm heading there with a bunch of girlfriends to celebrate a friend's bachelorette party, and I couldn't be more excited to soak in the sun, relax and catch up with my good friends.
What are you up to this weekend?

| how good does that ice cream sandwich look? |
I'm wearing this feather clutch (only $26 on Asos!), this J Crew shirt that is super versatile and a great wardrobe building block and these Madewell jeans. My bracelets and blazer are from J Crew, shoes are Jimmy Choo (these are similar and affordable) and my necklace is vintage.

Great clutch and shirt!

Classy with a Kick
That clutch is amazing! I think I'm going to have to add it to my wish list! I think I've only been to Westwood once to visit a cute boutique there (Keene LA). It looks like a really fun town! I'll have to go back. I live in Los Angeles but don't really go out much so I'm definitely following along to see all the cool places around! I also love your style :-)
