boyfriend
Even though boyfriend jeans have been popular for a few years now, I just couldn't get into them; they look so cute on some girls but I just felt they wouldn't work on me. Then I got these and became a convert. I love that I can wear pieces that usually equal 'dressed up', but paired with boyfriend jeans the look is still relatively casual and not too 'done'.
Do you wear slouchy jeans, or do you have a certain style that you always stick to?
My sequin top is really old by Calvin Klein but this sequined peplum top from Piperlime is similar, very pretty and only $29. Denim c/o James Jeans, Shoes by Christian Louboutin, Tory Burch clutch, Banana Republic Mad Men collection necklace c/o, and my boyfriend's Timex watch.

I love boyfriend jeans, but they definitely have to fit a certain way. Even though they're meant to be slouchy, they can't be too loose or it would just look terrible. You're working them perfectly here!

You styled this outfit to perfection! And this is an awesome example of how boyfriend jeans can make a slightly dressy (heels, sequin top, clutch) outfit more casual.
ReplyDeleteSo yes, if you couldn't already tell, I do like boyfriend jeans, if worn correctly. Otherwise I'm a skinny jeans girl all the way!
yep, just looking for the right pair!!!

How good that you converted because I like it very much like you´re wearing your boyfriend jeans. But I know what you mean, although I own much to much boyfriend jeans, sometimes I don´t like it how it looks on me: it seems slutty and without class and style ...
ReplyDeleteBut in our outfit of today everything is perfect <3

I adore those. I still have yet to find ones I like. I am thinking about ordering some J Brands that everyone seems to love but I don't have high expectations.

you should try these ones out - they are a slimmer more flattering cut than other ones!
Deletethose jeans look great on you - but boyfriend jeans tend to look good only on slim women so depends on the figure.
ReplyDeleteBut also you seem to have a slimmer cut boyfriend jeans which is chicer plus louboutins never hurt!
I think these boyfriend jeans are perfect for you! They're not as baggy as most and long enough that you can cuff all you want. Yay for finding a great pair!
