This is the vintage fur stole that I got at the flea market the other day. Even though fur and faux fur vests have been popular for years (thanks Rachel Zoe!) I've actually never owned one, if you can believe it. My sister has a really great vest that I've borrowed but I've never actually found one that I love, until this one. The fact that it was only $40 didn't hurt!
Do you still wear fur vests? How do you typically style them? If I lived anywhere other than LA I'm sure I'd be wearing mine with a thick sweater underneath but it doesn't get all that cold here...actually, check out this hilarious video that Jimmy Kimmel compiled from California newscasters freaking out about how 'freezing' it has been here.
I'm wearing an Equipment shirt, these Madewell jeans, these Jimmy Choo pumps (one of the best investments I've ever made, fashion wise - they go with just about everything), a vintage bracelet and a vintage Chanel purse (this vintage one is similar and beautiful). My fur is vintage but this vest is similar and affordable.

Thanks for sharing this, I have been dying to see it on since you bought it. It looks great and really adds something different to that outfit. I laugh when I hear about how 'cold' it has been in LA when I am sat here in -10 degrees C temps with frozen fog, black ice and snow, hehe. I suppose if I lived in lovely LA I would find anything other than hot hot sunshine freezing too!!
