Happy 2013! Is it just me, or did last year fly by at a seriously rapid pace? One of my resolutions this year is to slow down and really savor and appreciate the moment and things that make me happy. A friend of mine used to say 'enjoy the moment, you've only got it once' and I think it's a really noble idea. I'm also of course going to try to cook more, work out more and spend less money (the same resolutions I've made for the last 5 years but never seem to actually happen). Do you make resolutions?
This is what I wore for New Years Eve; we had my sister and brother in law over for champagne and then had dinner at Tar & Roses, an awesome little restaurant nearby. It was a relaxed and fun night, which is just how New Years should be, in my opinion. What did you do for NYE?
My jacket is a few years old by Nanette Lepore, but this one from Piperlime is similar and a fantastic price. I'm wearing the J Crew Minnie pant, this sequined tee that's also from J Crew, these Jimmy Choo's from the awesome Net a Porter sale (they are almost sold out but if you have larger feet check them out), a vintage necklace, and a ring that my boyfriend picked up for me in Mexico. My clutch is a Christmas gift from my stylish mom (thanks mom!), but I'm not too sure where it's from.

That coat is so cute, especially with the red lips :) You styled this to perfection!!

Your outfits are incredible.. I have literally been going through page after page on your blog all night.. I cannot wait to show my sister how you styled this shirt ! My mother and I convinced her to buy it after I fell in love with the polka dot one that is pretty much its fraternal twin haha ! ... We both wore them at our birthday dinner together and I thought we looked adorable. She has been too scared to wear it since so I am sure she will love this post! Thanks for being fabulous!
