Oh Christmas Tree



I love the tradition of picking out a Christmas tree. The white lights, holiday music and fresh tree smell remind me of when I was little and my sister and I would go with our dad to choose one...though there was typically snow in Canada which made it a lot more 'Christmas-y'.

If you celebrate Christmas, did you get your tree yet?





I'm wearing these jeans from Madewell that I'm obsessed with, an old J Crew sweater over a silky blouse, a vintage necklace, Barbour gloves (I got them when I was freezing in London and am trying to get some more use out of them!) and these Jack Rogers boots that I pretty much live in.

  1. We used to drive to the woods where they had tree farms and you'd walk forever until you found *the perfect tree* -- very Griswold family Christmas. :) Maybe next year we'll do this instead of our pre-lit fakey. Merry Christmas!

  6. Very cute! We meant to go get our tree this weekend but got too busy (and lazy) so we're waiting one more week. I feel like a scrooge, our neighborhood is so decked out except for us! haha

  10. I love all of the traditions that come with this time of year, especially that of picking out the tree. I'm only slightly envious that you don't have to wear a coat when you go get yours! You'll have to show pictures when it's all lit up. :)

  11. I can't have a tree with three crazy dogs, so I just watch other peoples, put a picture up when it is done, haha! You look cute, love the gloves, Barbour rules.
