I was in Québec over the weekend to visit friends and family, and had such a great time. We were only gone for a few days but I always feel like I have been much more exotic because of the beautiful architecture and the fact that nearly everyone speaks French (which I am currently trying to relearn - I recently bought the Rosetta Stone!).
We spent the day in Montreal eating bagels (they are famous for their bagels which are thin and crispy and slightly sweet - my boyfriend has been known to literally stop in his tracks to test out bagels claiming to be Montreal style), sightseeing in Old Montreal and generally just hanging out in the beautiful weather. We then headed to a quaint little town east of the city where we spent time swimming and boating and just relaxing.
Above and below is the outfit that I wore during the day in Montreal - an easy Lilly sundress (with a whimsical sailboat pattern), cross body bag by Cambridge Satchel Company, my trusty monogrammed Jack Rogers sandals and a simple enamel bangle.

ReplyDeleteWow, gorgeous dress! Love the cobblestone streets and beautiful buildings! As many places I have been overseas and yet I have never visited Canada. Looks gorgeous!

That outfit is totally summer chic! I've heard Montreal bagels are delish and have been meaning to try a Montreal bakery in NYC. Sigh the quest for bagels of any kind in Asia never ends!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet comment - the new site is up and I need to tweak it, but it is great!
