Happy Monday! Today we have a post from my friend and fellow blogger, Jill! I know you guys will love her & her blog as much as I do:
hey all!
my name is jill and i am a stylist/blogger from the blog "les remarquables"! whit and i have been planning to do a guest post together for a while now, but it wasn't until she booked her trip to vancouver (happy birthday whit!) that it all came together.
here in dreary vancouver (it was actually snowing a couple weeks ago IN MARCH... so thank your gods LA readers.. cuz i'm jealous of ya) it's important for me to stay cheery.
what better way to do that than with color? call me crazy, but putting on my fav red lipstick (MAC ruby woo) or some colored jeans definitely adds a little pep to my step when i need it most. so when i found this zara coat, i went a little nuts. it's super soft and i'm kind of in love with the 60's shape of it. i wanted to keep the look modern and effortlessly chic, so i added some worn in jeans, a simple grey tee (i love me a grey tee, it is my staple) and a pair of pumps.
so, readers, thanks for having me, and answer me this: what do you wear to keep a little pep in your step on those days when you need it most?
ps keep your eye out for more posts on how to wear this divine yellow coat!

very cute coat, perfect for spring!
ReplyDeleteOh that is the perfect spring coat! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree, adding color in to your transition wardrobe through make-up is the way to go! Cute outerwear doesn't hurt either!

Such a lovely post! It seems that MAC's Ruby Woo is a popular lip colour! I also love a dash of 'Girl about Town' a gorgeous fuschia pink!
ReplyDeleteLoving the coat... Zara just keeps getting better.
