Tar and Roses

A few weekends ago I visited Tar and Roses, a brand new restaurant on the corner of 6th and Santa Monica in Santa Monica. A friend of mine told me to check out the restaurant, and it definitely lived up to/exceeded my expectations. As an added bonus, it is within walking distance of my flat!

Tar and Roses has a delish and inventive menu (we managed to try a lot in just one visit and everything was amazing), a cool bar area with an extensive wine list, and a small marketplace area offering imported oils and various prettily packaged items.

Have any of you guys been here yet? If not you need to check it out next time you are in the neighborhood!
