Have you guys seen Anthropologie's home items? Their kitchen stuff is literally (maybe not literally - have you seen Boo the dog? If not click here right this second) the cutest stuff ever.
I like the idea of 'chic-ing' up your kitchen and fridge, because these are areas that end up being more useful than cute - but they don't have to. You spend a ton of time in the kitchen, and wouldn't you be happier if you kept your eggs in a blue porcelain egg crate or measured your flour in painted measuring cups?
I know I would. I might even start baking! Although...probably not. The last time I 'baked' was when I bought ready made cookie dough to "quickly throw in the oven" and take to a party - I ended up spending an hour scraping off the burnt bits and ultimately having to buy new ones. I think I'll just have to admit it's not my thing, though it can't hurt to look the part right?
Check out my favs below:
1. Egg crate
2. Fancy measuring spoons
3. Cute measuring cups
4. Painted colander
5. Stoneware farmer's market basket
6. Bright red butter dish

So cute! I love buying kitchen gadgets, hubby hates having random stuff laying all around though. MEN =)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend my dear!
I spend waaaaay too much time and $$ on kitchen stuff, I justify it because I DO bake and cook as often as possible!
