We are currently in the midst of moving into a new apartment, which has some very cool features and additions, including a large ledge/bench by the window in the bedroom. I have been all excited about turning it into a cozy reading nook, but I still need to figure out what type of fabric/color/pattern I want to get the cushion created with.
Below are some of the goregous patterns and fabrics that I have been drooling over since last night when my sister told me about
Calico Corners.
Let me know what you think and which ones you like best!
And then, just because...check out some pretty reading nook inspiration:
Reading nooks are so fun! I have one in my house, and I used a pale striped fabric for the cushion, and then used more interesting fabrics for the throw pillows.
ReplyDeleteI like the zebra pattern or the bottom right print. Sounds like a lovely place to catch up on some reading.
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait for the day when my home will include a reading nook!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE a reading nook!! That striped fabric is just perfect..
ReplyDeleteLove the color scheme on all of the fabrics. And those reading nooks have given me some serious fodder for my Pinterest boards :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous inspiring photos! Wouldn't you just die for one of those gorgeous reading nooks with floor to ceiling windows that let in the most beautiful natural light?!

We had one of those in my parent's house, I loved it so much, you have to do it! I like all of the fabrics, the one I'm least keen on is the coloured zebra print.
ReplyDeleteI used to have such a great window seat in my old room at home. The perfect little nook! Love these choices!
