Blankets & Belts
When I was at a design store in New York over the weekend (a NY post is to come!) I saw throws buckled up with leather belts and thought to myself - that's genius.
If you're anything like me you have a large collection of cozy throws, but there is only so much room on your bed or draping over couches you can do with them before it starts to look a little weird. Rolling up your throws and keeping them in place with a belt not only looks cute but is space saving and functional...it's also possible that I am late to the game and everyone has been doing this forever, but it's new to me so that's what counts right?
Do you guys do this or have you seen it?
PS sorry for the bad picture, it's from my Blackberry which doesn't have the best camera!

Oh that's a great idea, I'm running out of places to stash my throws.
ReplyDeleteI loved your comment, what a mash up! The best of everything.
I have seen it and i do love it - love it worn too - a belted blanket makes a fab winter cape x

Adorable idea, never seen it before! Emily at Cupcakes and Cashmere had a cool throw storage idea awhile back, using a small fruit ladder to hang her throws. Can't wait to hear about NYC!
ReplyDeleteVery clever idea!! Perfect timing too since Im sure we're all pulling out our throws with this cold weather!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea! Love that little way to display them!
